Our 1000-hour Hair Design Program is built for students who want to specialize exclusively in the art and science of hair. This streamlined, high-impact program delivers advanced training in cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and chemical services—without the additional requirements of nails or esthetics. It’s the perfect option for students ready to enter the industry faster while becoming skilled, confident hair professionals.

Which Path Is Right for You?

Our Cosmetology Program (1600 hours) offers a full-spectrum beauty education, including hair, skincare, nails, barbering basics, and more. It’s the ideal path for students who want a comprehensive license.

Our Hair Design Program (1000 hours) is perfect for students who want to focus exclusively on hair. This program dives deeply into cutting, coloring, styling, chemical services, and hair artistry without the additional requirements of nails or esthetics. It provides a faster pathway to licensure while still delivering top-tier hair education.

Course Objective

The objective of Taylor Andrews Academy is to teach, develop, and graduate students to be professionals in the Art and Sciences of Hair Design and to prepare students to successfully pass the Utah State Board Examination.

Enrollment

Taylor Andrews Academy holds new classes about several times per year. We are accepting applications for all of our upcoming classes. Classes fill quickly so be sure to enroll well in advance of the class date you prefer. Please submit the Request Information Form to be sent information on Taylor Andrews Academy Curriculum, Class Dates, Schedules, Tuition and Financing.

COURSE LENGTH

1000 hours -Monday – Thursday
Full Time 8:30am-4:30pm
+ 5 hours of Distance Education = 29 weeks

Part Time PM 2:00pm-8:00pm
+ 4 hours of Distance Education = 38 weeks

Part Time AM 8:30am-2:30pm
+ 4 hours of Distance Education = 38 weeks

Financial Aid Available for those who qualify

FAFSA Federal Student Aid is available for those who qualify including Pell Grants & Student Loans. To apply go to www.fafsa.ed.gov. Enter the St George facility code 041842.

We also offer in house payment plans and accept financing that you may acquire from banks and credit unions.
